i read the article "Students Pay a Price (Literally) for Cell Phone Banfrom Weblogg-ed" by Will Richardson (Weblogg-ed)
In this article it explains how a high school in New York banned most forms of social communication and even went to the extent of putting scanners in the doors of the school to scan for cell phones. Students could drop their phones off with a bodega and could use or check their phones for $3 a use. I this that this is unbelievable and completely unfair.

Josh, you did really well. Try to make more eye contact with us, and add more personal connections. The question you asked us related to a PLN you barely talked about, so try to make your presentation a little longer. Other than that, you spoke nice and loud for all of us. Good job.
Josh,
Your presentation was pretty good. You didn't seem incredibly prepared, so for the next presentation make sure you're totally prepared. Also you were sort of quiet so speak up. One final thing that I noticed was you didn't really connect your blogs so just work on connections and telling us your opinions. Overall pretty good job.
Josh! I think that is dumb that schools are taking phones and making the students pay to look at it. If there's an emergency and the kid doesn't have three dollars, then the students couldn't use it to call for help. Your presentation was a little short, but good job!
Josh, you had a good presentation. Speak a little louder and make your presentation longer other than that good job.
Good job it was a little short but you had good eye contact and spoke clearly.
