pln 14
I don't think that anyone is to blame because teachers are aloud to have a life outside of school. If a teacher decides to have a social website like myspace or face book then they should not be restricted from saying anything. However they should keep in mind what he or she is placing on the Internet and everyone has or can get access to it one way or another.

PLN 13 semester 2
i read the article "Making Kids “Googlable”" by webblogg-ed.
This article talked about how people can Google other people if they want to be hired or enroll in a school. I feel that this is not fair because some people have Mysaces or facebooks or other social websites that don't really resemble them and they just have stuff on their website to impress his or her friends. Also people should not be judged by there myspace page.
This relates to me because I have a Myspace and I have probably been googled.
This relates to the world because people can Google any one they want whenever they want.

PLN 12 semester 2
i read the article "Boy, 8, suspended after sniffing Sharpie marker" by the Denver post.
This article talks about an 8 yeah old boy sniffed a sharpie marker during school and the school took it as an attempt to get high and suspended him. I think that the school took this way out of proportion. An eight year old is still at the age where he or she still believes in a "drug free me".
This relates to me because i have too sniffed a sharpie or other marker.
This relates to the world because kids are always sniffing markers just for the aroma, not to get high.

PLN 11 semester 2
I read the article "Another teen 'fight club' in Boulder?" by the Denver post. this article talks about how a group of students at a New vista school in boulder meet up at an elementary school to brawl for other students entertainment. A girl called the cops however the cops only caught 2 boys involved. This relates to me because my brother, his friends, and I would get in an empty room and mosh pit however its different because we weren't doing it for money. this relates to the world because there are tons of fight clubs in the world.

PLN 10 semester 2
I read the article "7 Simple Ways To Burst Out of Bed Each Morning" by Alex Shalman. his article gives 7 tips to help you get out of bed early instead of pressing the snooze button over and over. I can relate to this because I often press the snooze button but recently I broke that bad habit and got into a worse one. Instead of pressing the snooze button i just turn off the alarm all together and go back to sleep. I can see how other people might have similar problems waking up in the morning.

PLN 9 semester 2
I read the article "How to Find Happiness Without Buying It" by David Bohl. This article talks about how our current society is to materialistic and how people can find happiness without buying it. I personally think that you can find happiness without buying it but it is harder. Money does bring happiness because if my dad were to buy me a new car I would be more than happy, but a car costs money. I think it is hard to think of a way to have happiness that dosent cost money.
Presentation evaluation
I feel that I could have been more prepared with some more PLNs and also it wouldn't have hurt to be less fidgety. For my next presentation I plan to bring more to discuss and be more confident and less jittery
